The three-day BUTUSOV FEST was devoted to the theatre of director Yuri Butusov. Kino Artis presented filmed versions of two productions: “R” from the Satirikon Theatre and Bertolt Brecht’s “The Good Person of Szechwan” from the Pushkin Theatre.
The festival concluded with “I Must Not Know What Awaits Me”, a public conversation between Yuri Butusov and theatre critic Sergey Nikolayevich. Rare footage from other productions, music that inspired the director and stories from his creative life accompanied the discussion.
