Film / private screening and talk
About the event
Carla Simón’s film follows a Catalan family of peach farmers whose way of life is threatened when the land’s new owner decides to replace the orchard with solar panels. Over one summer, an intimate story unfolds about family, generations and a world disappearing before its inhabitants’ eyes.
The evening was part of SNAMI’s Private Screening film club. Film critic and curator Dasha Kozyr introduced the context before the screening, and the conversation continued with the audience afterwards.
