About the event
Martin McDonagh’s black comedy takes us to a remote Irish village where gravedigger Mick Dowd clears old graves each year to make room for new arrivals. When his own wife’s grave appears on the list, buried suspicions, memories and old rumours rise together with the bones.
Director Edvin Klimanov brings together savage humour and an unsettling reflection on guilt, loneliness and what remains of a person. The cast featured Ivan Streltsov, Volodymyr Horyslavets, Mikhail Shiryaev and Elina Bartkevich. The performance was in Russian and played without an interval.
